Day 3

Day 3 took the team along a route called the ‘Sella Ronda’ named after the area considered to be one of the best areas for skiing in the winter, but this also holds true for cycling during the moths of summer. The route took the team through three major climbs, the Grödner Joch, Pass Pordoi, and the Sella Pass, reaching a peak height of 2,239 meters.

While each climb of the route was without a doubt intense, they were also all manageable. At the end of the long day the stylish Lagació Hotel located in St. Kassian, awaited the team with open arms providing a well designed haven for rest and relaxation. With its spa and gourmet dinning, the pains from early in the day quickly gave way to more soothing sensations.
